Welcome to our charming timber cottage in Tollsätter, Höga Kusten!
As you step inside, you’ll be greeted by a warm and inviting open-plan living space, complete with a well-equipped kitchen and dining area, an old kitchen sofa and a modern bathroom with a shower, WC and underfloor heating. Upstairs in the sleeping loft, you’ll find a comfortable double bed and a single bed, offering a peaceful and restful night’s sleep.
Located across from our family home, our cottage overlooks two lakes and Själandsklinten mountain and it is the perfect base for outdoor adventures. From hiking and biking to fishing and kayaking, there’s no shortage of activities to enjoy. If you need any equipment like bicycles and snowshoes to explore the area, you can rent it from us.
The High Coast, a UNESCO World Heritage site, is renowned for its hilly scenery with high islands, steep shores, smooth cliffs, and deep inlets – the highest land uplift in the world. Formed during the Ice Age, it is literally rising from the sea. The Världsarvsleden trail passes close by our cottage. It’s a 100 km long hiking trail that passes several nature reserves, 29 villages and fishing villages and many sites of great natural beauty.
We ask 950 SEK/night or 6,000 SEK/week. For rental around Christmas, Easter, and the Swedish midsummer, we ask an extra 250 SEK/night. From the 17th of June until the 12th of August 2023, we only rent out on a weekly basis, with changeover day on Saturday.
To make your stay more comfortable, you can rent sheets and towels from us for 150kr/set.
During the summer you can charge your car, for an extra cost, at our house, (AC 3.6kW). Closest charging station is at Gårdsbutiken (22 kW Type 2), 1,5 km from us.
We kindly ask that there is no smoking inside the cabin and that you clean the cottage before departure. There is WiFi but no TV in the cottage.
Dogs are allowed but not cats.
